Procedure to download Certificate

.	MCA 21	.	DIGITAL SIGNATURE	.	GET A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE
.	EXPORT CERTIFICATE	.	IMPORT CERTIFICATE	.	STORE CERTIFICATE

Procedure to Store/Backup your certificate from Internet Explorer

Follow the procedure to export the certificate from Internet Explorer to PC.
Then you will find the certificate file on the stored location (say Desktop) like this



You can copy this file and paste to any media like Floppy, CD or USB tokens.
For better safety we will add another level of security to this file by compressing it.



Step 1 :Right click on the file and select add to archive.



Step 2 :Select the archive format as 'Zip'. Select the 'Advanced' tab. Click on 'Set
		Password'



Step 3 :Give your password to the Zip folder. Memorize this password as it will be
		required when you unzip this folder to use the certificate file.



Step 4 :Click 'Ok' again 'Ok'. You will find your zip folder on the desktop now.



Now you can copy this folder to a Floppy, CD or USB token.
You can now take your certificate to any place with you and use it any other
computer.

Use the certificate from zip folder on any other computer

First you need to extract the file from the zip folder. Copy the folder to your desktop
or you can extract it directly from your storage medium. Here we kept it on the
desktop.

Step 1 :Right click on the zip folder and select 'Extract files'



Step 2 :Give the path where you want to store the extracted file. Here we selected the
		path on the same desktop.



Step 3 :Enter your same password that you gave while creating the zip folder. Now
		click 'Ok'. Your extracted folder with the certificate file will be on the desktop.


Now follow the installation procedure to install the certificate to the Internet Explorer.
You can use the certificate on the that computer also.
