 WebRover is a high-speed database search engine running on a PHP/MySQL backend. Features:
- "Browse and Manage" TM Feature
The browse and manage feature enables the Admin to Add/Delete/Modify links to the database all via a simple web-based interface.
- CRC32 Conversion Technology
The CRC32 conversion technology is used to optimize the keywords and distribute them over many tables. This makes search blazing fast as the search is performed in different small sized tables and combine the results at the end.
- Auto-Generation of New / Most Popular Links
A list of the latest links added to the database is created under "What's New". Based on the popularity of the links generated by click-through a "What's Cool" list is also created.
- Rating System
Users will be allowed to rate the websites in the database. However, cookies disable the user from rating a particular website more than once.
- Search-engine friendly pages
The system eliminates the "?" from the URLs, thus generating only static URLs using a special Apache feature. This makes search spiders navigate the website with ease.
- An integrated ad management system

- Advanced Search Option
Webrover has been built with advanced search options which enable you to execute searches with Boolean Operators like AND, OR, NOT, EXACT. You can also search within a single category or all categories.
- Modular Design System
Developed in the MagNet's proven style of PHP development, Webrover is coded along a modular design system. This allows the different features to be kept separate, thereby updating the site tools becomes an easy task.
- Priority Based Listings
Admin has an option to place a particular website listing on the top of the list, if it is a sponsor or priority listing. A simple to use web-based admin interface allows the admin to make such changes on the system.
- Supports Unlimited Categories
Webrover supports "n" levels of categories. You can create subcategories within a category, as deep as you want.
