SuperMax

Sterling Four owns Supermax - the world's second largest brand for shaving products and other toiletries. Their operations and sales span over 15 countries across the world. The company aimed to build better brand re-call value and offer promotional events / contests at their website.

the challenge
Supermax wanted to showcase its wide range of products to the online customer by providing them with complete information about the various products. It also projected to use the Internet as a medium for promotion activities.

the solution
MagNet was assigned the job to co-ordinate information from the various branch offices and present it on the website. To offer a level of personalization, the website was classified into zones - Each catering to particular set of countries.

An interactive Flash map allowed the visitor to choose the country of interest. Dynamic catalogues were used to present the products under various categories and sub-categories. A SQL solution was recommended with a view to make additions to the website a simple task in the long run, since the company is always adding new products to their range.

Bottom Line
Customers are better informed about the products before making the purchase.
The website enabled Supermax to provide more details about a newly launched product.
Localised contests and surveys were conducted to know the customer preferences and choices better.

technologies used
The website has been developed using Flash giving it a pleasing, yet fast-loading interface. The website uses ASP scripting for dynamic generation of catalogs from a SQL database.
